All FACT classes are run on a drop-in basis. New or visiting students are encouraged to get in touch with us prior to your first class. We suggest wearing supportive and stretchy but close-fitting athletic wear, as loose garments can get caught or wrapped in the apparatus.
FACT offers instruction in many of the most common aerial circus apparatus, including silks, aerial hoop (Lyra), static trapeze, rope, and straps. Each apparatus presents its own challenges and rewards. We encourage beginners to try several; you might be surprised at which one(s) you prefer!
Mixed Apparatus A hodgepodge of apparatuses! Silks, hoop, and trapeze, this class covers it all.
Silks Also known as tissue and ribbons, silks are one of the most popular circus apparatus. This is a vertical apparatus that is beautiful and alluring.
Rope Be prepared to use your dynamic strength. Rope trains with silks classes and uses some similar skills. Rope is a must-train apparatus right now.
Hoop If you like to spin, hoop (also known as Lyra) is your apparatus. A great apparatus to begin your aerial experience.
Trapeze Static trapeze (as opposed to flying trapeze) uses a single- (also known as dance trapeze) or double-point anchor and is accessible at both beginner and more advanced levels. This class will challenge you physically and mentally. Focused on conditioning, you’ll get an amazing workout while hanging out with great people and learning new skills.
Straps One of the few straps classes in the city, our curriculum teaches the art of aerial straps as a whole as opposed to focus on traditionally male- or female-oriented straps. Well-rounded with flexibility, conditioning, and technique.
Kids class (4-8 year olds) More fun than a barrel of monkeys. An adventure in hoop, looped silks, silks, and partner balancing, this class allows your child to build confidence in a safe and exhilarating environment.
